On September 3rd, Ute passed away at Providence St. Peter Hospital following a long illness.
Ute has been part of the Yelm Food Co-op since its earliest days, joining as a working member in September 2014 and becoming a staff member in 2015. Over the years, she became a steady and trusted presence—generously sharing her deep knowledge of nutrition, natural healing, and the products that have helped shape our store into what it is today.
Her warmth, wisdom, and quiet dedication touched the lives of so many. Ute’s presence brought comfort and inspiration to our team and our community. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the honor of knowing her.
She will be dearly missed.
