The Poggio del Moro estate is located in the middle of Tuscany, the heaven
of smoky slopes, to the south of Montepulciano, in the neighborhood
of old Chianciano. The estate had been created through the love and
passion of Tania and Alex during the last 10 years with the help of a
professional, young and passionate team from all over the world.

***NU Chianti. The grapes are handpicked in small crates and selected manually. Maceration at skin contact for 7 days. Brief and frequent pumping over the must to enhance the fruit. After gentle pressing, 30% refines 3 months in old oak while 70% stays oak free to maintain fruitiness. Wine refines for 9 months in total. Bottled on full moon or during first quarter of waning moon.

***Galio Toscana Rosato. The grapes are picked before 10am then placed overnight in our cool underground fruttaia, then moved and pressed without de-stemming. After the fermentation process which lasts 30-35 days, bottling happens on the full moon at the end of January/beginning of February.
