Italian Taleggio Cheese

Taleggio is a washed rind cow’s milk cheese from the Lombardy region of Italy. It is produced in the Val Taleggio, an alpine region near Bergamo, and historically it dates back to the ninth century! It’s somewhat similar to Brie.

We have a new French Brie Cheese. We first saw it at one of the Olympia Food Co-ops. It’s delicious and seems to be a better size and price fit for us. We sampled it on Wednesday and customers really liked it.
